Burgerstein Magnesium Orotate is an organic mineral supplement and is used as a general sedative.
In the event of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, severe kidney dysfunction, dehydration in the body and a predisposition to urinary tract infections with the formation of magnesium ammonium phosphate stones.
If you have moderately restricted kidney function, you may only take the drug after consulting your doctor. Burgerstein magnesium orotate should not be taken at the same time as certain antibiotics (tetracyclines, gyrase inhibitors) or iron salts. A staggered intake of 3 hours is possible. Taken with vitamin D3, Burgerstein magnesium orotate can cause increased calcium levels.
Burgerstein magnesium orotate tablets contain 229 mg sorbitol per tablet, corresponding to 3.3 mg per kg for a body weight of 70 kg.
This medicinal product contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg) per maximum dose (3 tablets), i.e. essentially “sodium-free”.
This medicine can affect your ability to react, your ability to drive and your ability to use tools or machines! Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself!)!
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations were never carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
Adults: Take 1-3 tablets daily or as directed by your doctor. The use and safety in children and adolescents has not yet been tested, which is why the drug should not be taken by them.
Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
The following side effects can occur when taking Burgerstein magnesium orotate: Soft stools or diarrhea can occur.

Burgerstein magnesium orotate should be kept out of the reach of children and tightly closed at room temperature (15-25 °C).
